After almost six years of running weekly pop-ups, I have just moved eMpulse into a storefront this past September! I am so excited to have a permanent space that my brand can call home. I had so much fun curating a retro space that reflects the brand and is a fun shopping experience for customers. With the help of some friends, we set the store up in a week, including installation and painting the wavy mural! The support of my friends and the community has truly filled my heart during the install and grand opening experience.

I am grateful for the space weekly farmer’s markets provides for small businesses to sell their products, and to start a business (like I did her at eMpulse)! I am SO excited to step away from markets into running a storefront. I will be putting all my energy into running the website and the shop, so will no longer be at weekly farmer’s markets.

Shoppers can come shop my threads on the regular now Wednesday-Sunday inside OB Beans Coffee Roasters (4879 Newport Ave., San Diego, CA 92107). My little storefront is located inside the front window space of OB Beans. Ocean Beach is my home and where I started the brand, so it’s extra special that my storefront is in this special town. You can check our up dated shop hours here.

When you come shop eMpulse in the shop, you have first dibs on all the latest threads fresh off the sewing machine! You can also experience some nostalgic vibes as we play tapes on our vhs tv. And don’t forget to grab a fresh cup of joe or acai bowl on your way in or out (a little bonus of being inside a coffee shop space)!

Having a storefront that is also a studio and place where I can work from has been AMAZING! I have been able to take production a bit more out of my home and into the shop! Chances are I might be sewing up some fresh threads when you cruise through the shop!

eMpulse feels so expansive and has been continuing to grow online and through this shop! Thanks for all the continued hype and support behind my sustainable clothing brand! And, if you’re local, I hope to see you at the shop!

Xx,

Em
